Jacques Serfontein Chief Executive Officer
Jacques Serfontein is a lifelong entrepreneur and a graduate of the University of Cape Town’s Blockchain and Digital Currencies programme. With over eight years of experience in the crypto space, he founded Bitmart in 2015, pioneering Africa’s first physical cryptocurrency store, and later launched HODL OTC in 2020, which facilitated over R177 million in trades within its first year. Jacques is passionate about innovation, trust, and transparency, driving the adoption of digital financial solutions.
